Paul Solomon life was not an easy one. It was one that went through pain and hardship to emerge into the joy of service.

Paul Solomon was born William Dove on July 7, 1939 in the town of Rogers, Arkansas. He was raised in a very religion Southern Baptist family. His father served as a minister of the Southern Baptist Church, with rotating assignments. This meant that Paul changed homes frequently, moving nearly once a year.

Paul exhibited psychic abilities at a very young age. Paul fear was heightened by his parents fear that his abilities were coming from the devil. Paul began to feel abandoned and alone and tried to commit suicide. Because this Paul renounced and suppressed his psychic abilities. At the age of 14, he became the youngest ordained minister of the Southern Baptist Church.

In 1959, he was married and in 1963, without any warning, his wife took the children and divorced him. This devastated him and he blamed it on God. He began to hate God and did everything he could to anger Him. He experimented with all sorts of things; drugs, alcohol, sex.

After five years living like this in dark despair and emptiness, he wanted to get out of this darkness. He had tried religion and it didn't work. He had tried therapy and that didn't work either. He remembered an army experience where he was trained in hypnosis where he was involved in an experiment to use hypnosis to stop bleeding and provide anesthesia to the wounded. He wondered if he could use hypnosis to stop the pain that he was feeling.

A friend of Paul's, Harry Snipes II, was also trained in hypnosis. Harry suggest that he hypnotize Paul, which he did. To Harry's amazement that when he hypnotized, he discovered what Paul simply called the Source. This was very similar to Edgar Cayce's source of information that he called the Universal Consciousness.

Paul soon found that he could give health readings while under hypnosis. Word of this quickly spread and he soon was giving readings all day. He never sought fame and used the public name of Paul Solomon in order to maintain a certain level of privacy. For many years he gave health reading and gave lecture instructing us in how we can have a connection with our own Source.

He was not a rich man at many times he did not know from where his next meal would come. Paul Solomon was a man who had devoted his life to helping others, especially the poor, the oppressed and the enslaved. For his efforts to help the enslaved children of Thailand, he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993. He died in 1994, from wounds that he suffered in Thailand.
